By breeding your own dwellers with high stats, you can create superior offspring much faster and without relying on the happiness boost provided by the radio room.

One of the biggest advantages of breeding is that it allows you to control the outcome of your dweller's stats. Unlike the radio room, which brings in random dwellers with varying stats, breeding gives you a 50/50 chance of inheriting one of your parents' highest stat and starting out at level 3. This can be particularly useful if you're training two of your dwellers up to level 10 for all S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats, as I have done in my own vault.

In fact, breeding does seem to produce dwellers with slightly higher stats than those brought in through the radio room. For example, one of my dwellers had perfect charisma and fathered 10 females, resulting in babies born with 3 on the stat corresponding to his highest stat.

While all common dwellers can only start out with up to 3 on a stat, it's clear that breeding allows for more control over the outcome. And with the ability to train your dwellers to level 10, you can create truly exceptional offspring with high stats across the board.
